One of the main questions are clients ask us is “what is the divergence among uninterrupted and strobe lighting?” Continuous lighting uses a neverending light source to light your subject, meaning that your lights will stay on for the duration of the entirety of your photo shoot. Continuous lighting is commended for beginners. Strobe lighting uses a flash of light at the moment your camera shutter opens to illumine your subject. Many masters use this type of lighting because it offers more control of the light.

Good and cheap light set if you don’t have to assemble/disassemble it often. By Tai The Asian Wonder Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RG215X7AXYYM9 I couldn’t find any useful reviews of any softboxes out there when I was doing research for my video lighting area so I decided to do a quick review to help others.

Cheaply Made. By B. Keating lighting system was not as bright as I imagined. For my projects it will do.
The first time I used the Boom Stand, it broke under the weight of the light and softbox.
Overall, I am fine with the order as it was only [...] bucks, but it is definately made very cheap.
UPDATE: Had another stand break today, just from picking it up and moving it. These lights are POORLY BUILT.

Solid Prosumer Setup By Giles Forman This is not a pro-caliber lighting rig, nor should it be for the laughably inexpensive price that I paid for it- but it is a wonderful way to improve video a shoot and I recommend it highly. The compact florescent heads are pretty clever- 5 switches on the back allow you to select between 1 and 5 bulbs. They’re nearly heat-free which is a big improvement over tungsten for a setup as mobile as mine- plus, no heat issues on a shoot. The boom arm has been fun to experiment with, though we’re still learning. The stands are pretty lightweight- again, NOTE THE PRICE, but they’re sufficient for the size and weight of the heads. In short, I’d buy it again.
